As Cameroon prepares for its presidential elections this October, the stakes are high—not just politically, but socially and emotionally for communities across the country. In regions like Bamenda, where tensions have historically run deep, civil society organizations like Wanyuri vzw play a vital role in fostering peace, civic engagement, and trust in the democratic process

Wanyuri vzw is a grassroots civil society organization committed to improving livelihoods through education, health, capacity building, and community empowerment. Founded by Sunjo Relindis Kiven, Wanyuri has deep roots in both Belgium and Cameroon, with a special focus on supporting vulnerable populations affected by the Anglophone crisis.
