Kom genieten van de Afrikaanse cultuur met focus op Kameroen in het weekend van 20/08 & 21/08 bij Helkijn. We geven je de kans om de Kameroenese streetfood-smaak, levensstijl, kapsels te proeven en te genieten van Afro-dance beats.

Dit is ook een kans voor geïnteresseerden om meer te weten te komen over de ontwikkelingsprojecten die we in Kameroen uitvoeren en hoe ze kunnen ondersteunen.

AFRICAN EXPERIENCE: TOGETHER OUTSIDE AND ENJOY THIS CULTURAL EXCHANGE SHOW FROM VZW WANYURI
Wanyuri is a non-profit organization that has been implementing development cooperation in Cameroon since 2016 and through this initiative brings together people & companies with common vision to improve the lives of people in Cameroon. To be eligible for subsidies from the Flemish government, the organization is obligated to organizes awareness campaigns in Flanders. That is why the organization and its members have decided to organize this cultural exchange event with Focus on Cameroon culture.
Last month, during the Sinksen parties in Kortrijk, Wanyuri & it members gave a dazzling show about Cameroonian cultural dance and cuisine via KRAC (Kortrijk Aan Culturen). Watch hier de video full video to get a taste of the activity.
Now in August, the vzw is doing the same activity in the municipality of Spiere-Helkijn, where the head office of the vzw is located.
In the weekend of 20/08 – 21/08 we give the Flemish population a taste of our African cuisine, hairstyles (braids on the spot), afrobeats dance show & plus tasty African cocktails.

 We invite you and your family on Saturday 20/08 from 10:00 am during the flea market & Sunday 21/08 from 2:00 pm during the Kermis in Helkijn, to show you the Cameroonian culture and give you the opportunity to to enjoy Cameroonian culture. Have a taste of Cameroonian street food on this experience . This is also an opportunity for those interested in learning more about the development projects we are doing in Cameroon and how to support them.
